NetSuite · Migration
An ERP migration is a reconciliation project. Opening balances have to tie, open AR and AP have to match the sub-ledger, and history has to be available where auditors and finance will ask for it. We cut over at a period boundary with a parallel close behind us.
When this is the right engagement
What you get
How it runs
What is in the source, what state it is in, what finance and audit need to keep.
Chart of accounts and master records, field by field, with rules agreed where they are cheap.
Master data first, then open transactions, with reconciliation after each load.
One period closed in both systems, differences explained.
At a period boundary, with a go or no-go by a named person.
We stay through the first live close and fix what real use finds.
Questions we get
Opening balances and open transactions always. Detailed history is a decision: usually a summary by period into NetSuite and a read-only archive of the old system for audit. We make the call with finance, not for them.
Work and news
Case studies from NetSuite engagements are being prepared for publication. The record above is public in the meantime.
Start with the stuck point
Bring the handoff, reconciliation, or report that keeps resurfacing. We will tell you whether it is a NetSuite problem, a data problem, or a systems problem, and what to do about it.
